Impact Starter Pricing Update
As part of our continued commitment to supporting the evolving needs of our social impact partners and their cause marketing initiatives with consistent innovation of our best in class technology, our base-level Impact Starter plan pricing will be changing. Starting on May 23rd, 2023, pricing will be updated for new merchant partners, and on June 15th, 2023, for all current merchant partners.
What is changing for Impact Starters?
Pricing Changes:
Our base-level Impact Starter plan will now cost $29 per month, in addition to the existing 0.5% (half of one percent) processing fee on all orders with store donations on purchase.
New Impact Starter merchants will be provided with a 7-day free trial or have their first 20 orders with donations free upon installation of the ShoppingGives Donation App, whichever comes first.
In addition to the pricing updates, existing merchant partners will no longer receive 20-free donation credits per month.
Settings Changes:
Default Causes
Impact Starter merchants will be required to have a default cause selected. If you wish to keep the default cause setting off, you have the option to upgrade to our Impact Plus plan.
Product Exclusions
Impact Starter merchants will now only be able to increase donations amount per product but cannot exclude products.
Verified Nonprofits
We are launching a new concept to highlight top nonprofits called “Verified Nonprofits”! With the release of Verified Nonprofits, businesses on the Impact Starter plan will be required to select from a designated set of 100 nonprofit organizations when configuring their giving campaigns. This initial set of 100 nonprofits will continue to grow and change over time.
If you would like to support nonprofit organizations that do not fall within our Verified Nonprofit program, you have the option to add-on our customer cause search feature for an additional $49 per month. With this add-on, you will have the ability to designate any of the 1.8 million causes in our nonprofit database for your campaigns, as well as have the ability to allow your customers to search and select a cause of their own.
Impact Starters Merchants without this add-on upgrade will be limited to only supporting and donating towards Verified Nonprofit organizations.
